A self-assessment for your dental practice

Turn your own operational numbers into a clear self-assessment you can review, track over time, and - entirely at your discretion - share to start a conversation with a lender or insurer. They review it on their own terms.

The DentistOpFlow self-assessment is provided for general information only. Please read and rely on it with these limitations in mind:

  • Yours, from you, and shared only by you. This self-assessment is generated from data you provide, for your own use. It is disclosed to any lender, insurer, or other third party solely if and when you choose to share it. DentistOpFlow does not share, sell, or transmit it on your behalf.
  • A suggestion, not a determination. It is a directional, decision-support indicator. It is not an approval, denial, rating, or recommendation to lend, insure, or decline.
  • Not a consumer credit score. It is not a consumer report and is not provided under the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act, Canadian credit-reporting statutes, or any equivalent framework. It is a business indicator about a practice's own operational data.
  • No guarantee of any outcome. Nothing here promises or implies approval, pricing, rates, limits, or terms for any loan, lease, or insurance product.
  • The institution decides, fully and independently. Any lender or insurer that receives a report makes its own underwriting and risk decisions using its own criteria. The self-assessment is, at most, one optional input among many, and should never be the sole basis for a decision.
  • Practice-authorized and self-reported. It is derived from data the practice provides and authorizes. DentistOpFlow does not independently verify or audit the underlying figures.
  • Directional estimates. Figures rely on general benchmarks and the practice's own inputs, which will differ from audited financials. Validate against actual records before relying on them.
  • Not professional advice. This is not financial, lending, credit, insurance, accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice, and not a substitute for professional judgment.
  • No offer. Nothing here is an offer, solicitation, or commitment to provide any product or service.
  • In development. Methods are patent pending and the product is evolving; features may change.

By using or relying on this self-assessment, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.

One summary, two audiences

For your practice, a clear self-assessment of your own numbers. And if you choose to share it, an organized summary you prepared, which the institution reviews entirely on its own terms.

For lenders & insurers

A summary the practice chose to share

  • A self-prepared summary

When a practice chooses to share it, you receive an organized starting point it assembled from its own operational numbers.

  • The practice controls it

It reaches you only because the practice chose to send it. DentistOpFlow shares nothing and makes no representation about the practice.

  • You decide, independently

You apply your own criteria and process. The summary is, at most, one optional input the practice offered, never a rating, score, or recommendation from us.

  • Self-reported, not verified

Figures are the practice's own estimates from its own inputs; DentistOpFlow does not audit or certify them.

For practices

Your numbers, on your terms

  • You stay in control

The summary is generated from your data and shared only with your explicit authorization. We never sell your information or shop you around.

  • A clearer conversation

Walk into financing or insurance discussions with a clear, standardized picture of your own numbers, not a binder of statements.

  • Portable and yours

Take the same summary to multiple institutions, on your terms and your timeline.

  • No surprises

It doesn't approve anything or set a rate. It gives both sides a faster, better-informed place to start.

How your self-assessment is built

1

Built from your own data

The self-assessment draws on procedure-level cost and margin, equipment cost and utilization, and optional cash-flow and debt-service inputs, all from data that stays in your own storage, never ours.

2

A consistent method you apply to your own numbers

Your own figures (margins, utilization, cost discipline) are summarized in one place using the same method every time, so you can track your own progress. No grade or rating is produced.

3

Watermarked for traceability

The result is a summary carrying a visible watermark tied to your practice, which makes casual alteration or reuse easier to notice. It is a deterrent, not a guarantee.

4

Shared only by you

You print or email the summary yourself, sharing it with a lender or insurer on your own terms. Nothing is sent unless you send it.

Built on trust, by design

Practice-authorized

Nothing is shared without the practice doing it. They print or send the summary themselves.

Watermarked for traceability

Each summary carries a visible watermark identifying the practice, to discourage casual sharing or alteration.

Your data, not ours

Your operational data stays in your own storage; we don't take custody of it.

No patient data

Designed not to collect patient health information.
